MEET THE COACHES!!

Coach Rogers has been a Social Worker at the Harrisburg School District for
12 years and has worked in the Mental Health field for 20 years. He received his M.S.W. from Temple University in 1993.
Coach Rogers is entering into his fourth year at the helm for the Indians after going 80-14 in his first three years.
Coach Rogers was the Associated Press' 2008 AAA Coach of the Year. He has over 12 years of coaching
experience at the high shool level including stints at Central Dauphin, Middletown and McDevitt prior to coming
to Hanna as an Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Rogers again looks forward to this year's possibilities.

Coach Harvey is coaching his third year at STHS. He was formerly the head
boys basketball coach at Central Dauphin East High School, Central Dauphin High School, and head girls basketball
coach at Palmyra Area High School. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1967. He received a BS in
Economics from Juniata College in 1971. He is currently retired after teaching special education for 33 years
at Central Dauphin High School. Coach Harvey enjoys seeing his players turn into mature young men. Coach
Harvey's significant other is Ms. Cindy Micka, our team statistician, and he has three sons, Shane, Dane and Sean.

Coach Ruby is a history teacher at Central Dauphin High School where he
served as head basketball coach for 11 years. His 30 years of coaching experience include head coaching at
high schools in Kentucky and Ohio, as well as assistant coaching positions at Gannon University in Erie, PA and
St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. Coach Ruby and his wife Lynne have two children - a daughter, Kara,
age 27, and a son, Kyle, age 20. Coach Ruby looks forward to his third season at STHS. |

Coach Martin is entering his first year at STHS as the head boys Junior Varsity
basketball coach. He is originally from Michigan and moved to PA after receiving his BS in Special Education from
Mansfield University in 2006. Currently, he is a 7th grade special education teacher at Rowland School in the
Harrisburg School District. Coach Martin stays active in the community by co-managing Big Boys In Training Athletics,
a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youths in Harrisburg and the surrounding areas. Coach Martin brings in a
winning attitude, energy, and passion for developing players into winners. |

Coach Williams is entering his first season with STHS and is happy to be here to
teach young men the game of basketball. Coach Williams has been a Juvenile Probation Officer for over two years
stationed at John Harris High School. Coach Williams graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in 2003 where he
played and started three years at the varsity level. He went on to receive an athletic scholarship to play ball at
Division II Mansfield University where he was also a three year starter and team captain. Coach Williams received his
BS in Criminal Justice Administration from Mansfield University in 2007. Coach Williams is very excited about this year
and is looking forward to seeing his players mature into nice young men and win games this year. |
